The University of Warwick and Coventry University are investing more than £1 billion over the next five years on their infrastructure as they look to cement their reputations as two of the UK’s leading educational institutions.

The new Science and Health Building, which has been designed and is being delivered by Broadway Malyan, is part of a £70m transformation of Coventry University’s Health and Life Sciences Faculty which also includes the complete refurbishment of the adjoining Richard Crossman Building.

The new scheme has taken centre stage on the Coventry and Warwickshire stage at this year’s MIPIM property show in Cannes where Broadway Malyan director Neil Rose was invited to join the estate directors from the two universities as well as a representative from Gleeds on a special panel to discuss design in the educational sector and the importance of development to the regional economy.
