The overall image has been improved throughout, with feature elements being designed for key areas to provide interest. A new identity, featuring circular shapes became the universal language unifying both the new and older areas of the mall. This circular emblem appears as a golden dome in the older parts of the mall, with a lighter more dynamic ring in the newer parts. A new lighting system helps to connect the mall, with new ceilings throughout.
Refurbishment and repositioning of one of the largest shopping centres in Munich
The Pep Shopping Center is one of the largest centres in Munich, originally opening nearly 30 years ago. Broadway Malyan was appointed to refurbish and reposition the mall, plus to provide interior design for the 10,000m2 GLA extension and the design of a new parking structure.
