Richard is an architect with over 20 years’ experience leading major hospitality, residential and mixed-use projects worldwide. His work places a strong emphasis on sustainability and placemaking, ensuring that projects balance design quality with long-term value.

He specialises in hospitality, having successfully delivered high-profile schemes across the EMEA region and building a reputation for creativity and technical excellence. Prior to joining Broadway Malyan, Richard held senior leadership roles at WATG and SB Architects/10 Design, where he oversaw the design and delivery of landmark resorts and hotels.

Richard’s appointment strengthens Broadway Maylan's expertise in resort planning, with a focus on destinations, hotels, community design, coworking environments and experiential, service led spaces.
