Innovative and inspiring teaching and research facilities designed to enrich the student experience

The third building designed by Broadway Malyan for Coventry University serves as a hub for outreach and enterprise activities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), offering state-of-the-art facilities to support future generations of learners.

The new four-storey building features a variety of learning environments, including a gaming and virtual reality studio, a dedicated space for 3D printing and rapid prototyping, a laser facility, and laboratories for physics and electronics. These are all arranged around a full-height central atrium designed to foster collaboration between students and staff.

Broadway Malyan also designed the award-winning Alison Gingell Building and the Centre for Applied Low Carbon Propulsion Systems.

“This new building will allow us to expand our innovative and inspiring teaching and research spaces for students and staff in the Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Computing. Connecting the new building with our existing engineering building will allow a seamless integration of the facilities, enhancing the student experience. We are excited about the opportunities that this addition to our Faculty estate will bring”
Ray Farmer, Academic Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Computing
