Digital Solution Specialist
Broadway Malyan is seeking a Digital Solutions Specialist to be part of the Digital Design Global Team that will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative digital design solutions that address business challenges and enhance user experience.
This role will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, the technology team, and end-users, ensuring that developed digital solutions are aligned with strategic objectives, user requirements, and technical requirements. Support will be provided to formalise the development of solutions through agile development processes to prototyping as required.

Key Responsibilities and Activities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of user-centred digital design solutions for architecture and masterplanning projects, from discovery and user research through prototyping, testing, documentation, training and handover.
- Translate business and design team requirements into scalable, accessible, production-ready tools, scripts and plugins (e.g., Revit API, Dynamo, Grasshopper, Python, C#, JavaScript), including AI/ML or procedural workflows where appropriate.
- Prototype, build and maintain design automation and workflow improvements for repetitive tasks, geometry generation in collaboration with project teams, site and urban-scale modelling, performance optimisation and data management.
- Ensure solutions integrate seamlessly with AEC platforms and workflows (Autodesk, ESRI, McNeel and others) by collaborating with BIM specialists, GIS specialists, computational design specialists, IT teams and external vendors; define deployment and integration requirements.
- Facilitate workshops, design sprints and stakeholder sessions with design and technical teams to identify opportunities for incremental innovation and validate concepts with end-users.
- Present concepts, proposals and implementation plans to design leaders and stakeholders; communicate technical decisions and trade-offs clearly to non‑technical audiences.
- Manage project plans, timelines, deliverables, where required budgets and risks across the solution lifecycle for studio and project programmes; coordinate testing, rollout and change management activities with business stakeholders.
- Monitor solution and project performance using analytics and user feedback; iterate and recommend system enhancements to improve design, delivery and project outcomes.
- Maintain clear design and technical documentation where needed for (requirements, wireframes, prototypes, specifications) and develop training/support materials tailored to architects, planners and project teams. Support will be provided where needed.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in Architecture, Urban Planning, Computer Science or a related field with a focus on computational design and design automation.
- 3+ years of relevant experience related to computational design and design automation solutions.
- Strong understanding on identification and implementation of emerging technologies into AEC project delivery.
- Ability to clearly articulate complex digital design solutions to all stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience of the capabilities of most (or selection) of the following coding languages: Revit API, Dynamo, Grasshopper, C#, Python, C++, JavaScript.
- Experience of Autodesk products, Revit and AutoCAD.
- Awareness of ESRI products is advantageous.
- Knowledge of QGIS is advantageous.
- Knowledge and experience of 3D modelling software, McNeel Rhinoceros advantageous.
