Great design should have a strong narrative. Something to excite, inspire and engage with the people who will be the end users. This section highlights some of our projects that we feel have an interesting story behind, whether it is to do with the original big idea, our process or the final result.

South Hampstead High School Performing Arts Centre
An architect and urban designer, Sally founded Stitch in 2012 with the vision of creating not just beautiful buildings but enriching environments where residents can live and build community for years to come. In 2025, Stitch was acquired by Broadway Malyan, enhancing its ability to deliver community-focused urban design across the UK.
Under her leadership, the Stitch team is shaping and transforming entire neighbourhoods through major regeneration projects across London. The studio’s collaborative approach with communities has been recognised with unanimous planning consent for hundreds of homes.
Sally is a published author on urban housing and a mentor for young architects. She is also the founder of The London Neighbourhood Scholarship Trust, which promotes a more socially aware and diverse built environment in London by investing in the architectural education of young Londoners. The LNS creates a level playing field for aspiring architects, allowing them to excel alongside their peers without the distraction of financial pressures.
