Think Tanks 2026: Collaborating for Maximum Impact
2nd February 2026

Our Think Tank initiative continues to grow in 2026, with a programme of thought-provoking panel discussions spread across the practice’s international studios.

At Broadway Malyan, we put our knowledge to work. Our Think Tank series exemplifies this philosophy, with each event an ideas laboratory where our studios and carefully curated industry specialists share lessons learned from professional practice.

The Madrid studio, led by Jorge Ponce, will continue to set the pace with three Think Tanks in March, June, and October, discussing trends including retail as an engine for urban regeneration, the growth of mixed-use projects in Latin America, and the business of architecture.

The Lisbon studio, led by Margarida Caldeira, will host its first Think Tank in March, analysing the impact of tourism on the city and its benefit to local economies. London will take AI and Architecture as the theme of its spring event. Singapore, led by Aji Brahmono, will focus on its experience in the Education sector. Finally, Warsaw will host its first Think Tank, on the Human-Centered Workplace, led by studio director Robert Kaminski.

Learning from each other

The Think Tank format originated at Broadway Malyan in Madrid in 2018 to create a space for sharing and learning together. Since then, 23 editions have been held in Madrid with great success. In 2025, the project expanded to Singapore and London, each with its own distinct voice and cultural value.

The initiative has as its founding principle the sharing of the breadth of expertise within Broadway Malyan with our clients, collaborators and friends across the global design and construction industry. In Spain, the initiative has benefited from partnerships with the IE School of Architecture and Design and Roca Gallery, gaining wider industry recognition as a trusted voice.

The 2026 series is an opportunity for our studios to air topics, debate with peers and share knowledge. A project greater than the sum of its parts, each session supports Broadway Malyan’s mission to deliver benefit through the transformation of our global cities.
