To celebrate Broadway Malyan’s 60th anniversary we wanted to do something that made a difference.

During September we held our ‘50 Million Steps’ global charity event with the aim to get active, to raise money and to change lives. The challenge was to collectively walk the 50 Million steps that it would take to walk from our Manchester studio to our Shanghai studio, taking in each of our offices from west to east.. and then back again.

Each studio selected a local charity to raise money for, ranging from those supporting babies and children through to help for refugees and the underprivileged. Events were held across our studio network including sports days, stair climbs, architectural tours, cycling and running groups, football tournaments and dance classes. Some chose to raise additional money through food and cake sales or to donate their time to visit the charity to volunteer their skills and services.
