Broadway Malyan and IE School Expand Partnership
28th October 2025

Broadway Malyan and IE School of Architecture and Design have formalised an agreement that strengthens the ties established in 2023, marking a further step in bridging the academic and professional worlds across design, architecture and urban planning.

The current agreement includes benefits for Broadway Malyan employees to pursue continuing education through access to IE Master's programs, as well as other programs taught by IE faculty. In addition, Broadway Malyan will participate corporately in academic and networking events organised by IE.

The collaboration between these two entities began in 2023 when they joined forces to hold a series of Think Tanks, a format promoted by Broadway Malyan Spain, focused on the latest trends in the world of Design and Architecture.

"The main purpose of this partnership is to ensure our teams have access to up-to-date learning and to continue nurturing talent within our practice." Jorge Ponce Dawson, Practice Principal, Head of BM Academy and Madrid Studio Director

"Our mission is to offer meaningful, globally oriented learning opportunities for professionals who strive to stay at the forefront of their fields." Cristina Mateo, Associate Dean of IE School of Architecture and Design

That first collaboration has matured and found a new model that shapes joint work through ongoing training within the company, intellectual exchange between practice and academia, and access to professional life for IE Business students.

“As head of BM Academy, whose primary mission is to ensure up-to-date training and the dissemination of talent within our teams, the collaboration agreement with IE School of Architecture & Design opens a path with great potential to achieve this,” says Jorge Ponce Dawson.

“The school reinforces its commitment to continuous professional development through strategic agreements like this one, whose central objective is to provide relevant education with an international perspective, especially aimed at those professionals who, due to the nature of their work, require constant updating of their knowledge,” emphasises Cristina Mateo.

With this new alliance, Broadway Malyan and IE School of Architecture and Design consolidate a collaboration model that reaffirms their leadership in the sector and their commitment to developing professionals prepared for the challenges of the future.
