Designed by Broadway Malyan, the scheme includes a 70,000sqm shopping mall on five levels, 15,000sqm supermarket and 45,000sqm office tower incorporating cinema, food court and rooftop restaurant. The 150m office tower has achieved a “Green Star” rating and has an impressive 70% area efficiency. The office space has been designed at Grade A standard to attract high-end occupiers.
The win was revealed at last night's award ceremony at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Hong Kong.
Commenting on the win, Sean Li, director at Broadway Malyan, said; "The MIPIM Asia Awards are highly sought after and it is a prestigious accolade to receive.
"Our design focused on how the different mix of uses complemented each other and interacted with the wider environment, to deliver something of high quality for the area.
"It is fantastic that it has been recognised in this way and we are proud to be part of the team that delivered this successful scheme in Hefei."
Sean added that the scheme is performing extremely well, with high levels of footfall and long dwell times for visitors.
