The design was developed in close collaboration with the client, end users and stakeholders, to provide a tailored environment to support further development of the curriculum.

Three distinct but mutually supporting elements of Further and Higher Education and Adult Skills are interlinked within one campus, with an iconic 'entrance street' separating the buildings with linking bridges above. Each of these three blocks is distinguishable through the use of contrasting materials giving each its own identity but still feeling part of a whole.

The campus achieved a BREEAM 'Excellent' rating.
