Martin joined Broadway Malyan in 1997 as a graduate having been awarded the RIBA Bronze Medal of exhibition as a student. He was invited to join the Broadway Malyan Holdings Ltd board in 2005. Over a 20-year career Martin has worked in our Reading, Manchester, Edinburgh, London & Birmingham Studios, developing an insightful perspective across the UK market.

Martin is currently a Design Review Panel member with the London Borough of Wandsworth and a visiting Design Review member at the University of Creative Arts UCA, Canterbury. In 2018 he was invited to join the Risk, Audit and Legal Committee of the business.

Martin maintains an active role in design and project work and continues to be driven by a passion for creating beautiful places shaped by the people who use them, his portfolio includes mixed use residential projects as diverse as Battersea Reach, a high-end residential development next to the Thames, to Erith Park, an award-winning estate transformation in south east London.

Currently Martin is collaborating with Coventry University on a range of academic buildings including the multi award winning Alison Gingell Building, Faculty of Health & Life Sciences. Also the Beatrice Shilling Building which is currently under construction for the Faculty of Engineering, Environment & Computing and the recently completed Centre for Applied Low Carbon Propulsion Systems (C-ALPS).
