Our big year in Indonesia
18th December 2017

Broadway Malyan’s Indonesian success story continued in 2017 with a number of major project milestones including project launches and completions.

With much success our mixed-use Promenade 57 project in central Jakarta was launched with all units selling out on the first week. With master planning, architecture, retail planning and landscape architecture by Broadway Malyan, the design looks to maximise its prime central location and revitalise the existing waterfront to create a vibrant urban quarter.

In December, we attended the topping out ceremony for the first phase of the 7point8 mixed-use project in Central Jakarta with architecture and landscape design by Broadway Malyan. This fully integrated transit orientated development includes office, retail, commercial, residential, and public space with the complex offering direct connections to Mass Rapid Transit Jakarta's new Setiabudi station.

In Jakarta, the first Phase of the CIBIS masterplan was completed including the CIBIS 9 building and landscape spaces, which were recognised by the Singapore Landscape Architecture Awards 2017. Our work continues on the next phases of the master plan including expansion of the public realm and design of the ‘Alun Alun’ central park.

Meanwhile in November the mixed-use Citraplaza Nagoya Batam development broke ground. Broadway Malyan worked on the master planning, architecture, retail planning (including retail refurb on existing mall) and branding to create an integrated development with appeal to both the local and international markets.

On a more strategic scale, in June, Broadway Malyan presented our vision and strategic plans for the transformation of Manado waterfront and the promotion of the city and wider North Sulawesi region as a hub for sustainable tourism. Developed in partnership with PWC, our concept focuses on seven key development zones and the revitalisation of the waterfront area.

Selamat Tahun Baru 2018!
