Snow Hill Square
Snow Hill Square will provide an attractive and welcoming gateway to Birmingham’s city centre from Snow Hill rail station. Putting pedestrians first, the square will establish a new benchmark for public space in the city, adding value and attracting investment to the thriving business quarter.
The £3.3m scheme is at the heart of a comprehensive masterplan focused on improving the liveability of the city centre and cultivating its ‘sense of place’. Reducing the domination of motor vehicles, prioritising pedestrians wherever possible and introducing a series of comfortable ‘staying/stopping’ spaces will transform the urban realm.
