A new eco-resort which involves the regeneration of existing community spaces and the addition of new hotel and leisure opportunities

The Tanjung Aru Eco Development (TAED) masterplan sees the creation of a new leisure resort in Borneo.

New hotel and leisure-led resorts, a marina, golf course, retail, and residential zones will all be developed, creating new housing and recreation facilities for the community as well as many job opportunities.

The existing Prince Philip Park will be regenerated as well as the local beaches. Both of these elements will be delivered in the first phase.

For the park, this will include new public performance space, canopy walkways and an eco-education centre added to the site.

Movement through the site will be improved by the inclusion of a waterfront promenade as well as pedestrian and cycle paths. A new 6km-long and 42m-wide canal will also run through the site, alongside some of the residential plots.

It has been designed in line with the Kota Kinabalu City Hall’s vision for a clean, green development that complements and enhances the natural environment.

Our focus is on creating a world-class, sustainable resort masterplan that will attract investment and visitors, and revitalise the existing Tanjung Aru Beach and Prince Philip Park so that they can be enjoyed by future generations.
