Putrajaya Lakeside is a sustainable mixed-use development comprising two plots linked by an overhead bridge. The waterfront plot comprises serviced apartments above a retail, food and beverage and recreational plinth. The inland plot comprises office and food and beverage outlets arranged around a new civic space. Skygardens step up through the buildings providing social amenity space for recreation and wellbeing in addition to reducing the heat island effect. A rigorous bioclimatic approach underpins the sustainable design that takes a visual cue by reinterpreting the white stucco Art Deco buildings of 1930s Malaysia.
