The Cathedral Group commissioned Broadway Malyan to design their new headquarters offices, focusing on encouraging communication and creativity to engage and involve staff in the business. The resulting concept is based on 'The Great Outdoors'. The Managing Director's office is in a shed complete with shag pile carpet and a photograph of a chip-shop menu as a backdrop. The boardroom is a customised greenhouse. A large yellow seating area is centrally placed allowing people to talk to each other, and workstations have telegraph poles at their centres. A photograph of sunrise on Camber Sands provides a backdrop for the entire office space.
