Broadway Malyan was invited to prepare a concept design for a competition for a tourist development on the coast of Montenegro, a short distance from Tivat. The project is set in a natural sandy bay and extends south along two facing promonteries of elevated moorland and pine forest. Sustainable design, sensitivity to the local landscape and the development of the green economy were all driving forces in developing the concept.
The overall development comprised a 5 Star hotel, Conference Centre, Wellness and Medical Centre. Broadway Malyan also proposed the inclusion of a number of new holiday homes and private villas with the aim of boosting the local economy and supporting local agricultural communities. The scheme also featured an outdoor sculpture gallery and marina with retail, food and beverage outlets overlooking the quayside.
