Skelmersdale Vision
background and brief
Broadway Malyan were appointed by the North West Development Agency, English Partnerships and West Lancashire District Council to determine a Vision Strategy and masterplan to develop the town of Skelmersdale into a sub-regional centre, re-defining and increasing the attractiveness of Skelmersdale's employment, retail, leisure and housing offer.

The 'visioning' document, which was prepared after thorough public consultation, proposes reconnecting the physically disconnected residential neighbourhoods, rationalising transport links and revitalising public realm to create a vibrant town for the 21st century.
