The Phoenix Centre, built at the heart of the Roundshaw Estate, is a 32,000m² complex integrating a unique combination of 15 different community uses in a safe and accessible environment.

Facilities proviced include sports hall, gym, dance studio, library, youth centre, recording studio, IT suites and a community police office.

All areas are accessed via a double height foyer within which a two storey central feature, a timber 'beehive', encloses a cafeteria on the ground floor.

The bold architectural concept integrates all functions into a single economic, but distinctive landmark community building.
