MacDonagh Junction is a major new mixed-use scheme in Kilkenny, Ireland. The €120m development, built around the existing rail station, will create a vibrant new social quarter for Kilkenny.

design response
The 23,225m² development includes a retail mall featuring a 900m² retractable roof, 147 apartments, offices, bars and restaurants. The scheme, which incorporates a number of listed buildings, will also feature an art gallery, creche, tourist office and memorial garden.
