Before joining Broadway Malyan's Manchester office in 2001, Matt graduated with a Distinction from Liverpool John Moores University's School of Architecture and was nominated for a RIBA President's Silver Medal. Matt now leads the practice's Liverpool office. Passionate about high quality design and its role in successful regeneration, Matt is currently leading the high-profile Mann Island scheme in Liverpool. Other recent schemes include the award-winning Vicus Apartments in the Castlefield conservation area of Manchester and Islington Wharf: a prestigious mixed-use development at the gateway to New Islington Village.
Matt is a panel member of the NWDA Places Matter design review panel, and is a guest reviewer for Liverpool John Moores University student's final year degree projects. He also sits on RIBA's National Council to represent the North West and is a non-executive director on the board of RIBA Enterprises Ltd.
