Neil Rose

Neil joined Broadway Malyan in 1988 and became a director of Broadway Malyan Holdings Ltd in 2002. An architect first and foremost, he is passionate about how intelligent design can contribute to more successful communities and workplaces whilst delivering additional commercial benefits for clients.

Based in Birmingham, Neil has been involved in all aspects of the design of the built environment, from large urban masterplans to the detailed on-site delivery of some of the practices most sophisticated schemes.

Neil has particular expertise in the residential, workplace and education sectors. He has been instrumental in transforming the Salford Quays area of Manchester into a thriving new community with award-winning projects that include the iconic NV Buildings and Erie Basin. More recently Neil led design and delivery of the new Wyre Forest District Council offices and he is currently leading the firm’s work on the Beorma Quarter mixed-use scheme in Birmingham.

Neil is a member of the British Council for Offices and acts as a public enquiry expert witness with regard to design matters.
