Peter Crossley

BA (Hons) BArch ARB  RIBA

Director

Peter studied architecture at the University of Manchester, joining Broadway Malyan in 1982 and was elected to the role of Managing Director of Broadway Malyan in 1999, a position that he held for over 10 years until deciding to step down for family reasons in 2010. In this capacity, Peter took overall responsibility for the performance of the Group. Since returning to the role of hands-on full-time design professional, he has devoted himself to his first love – architecture and the design of the built environment. He has extensive experience in the design and implementation of large-scale mixed-use regeneration projects, most recently overseeing the design and construction of a 50 storey apartment tower, No 1 St George Wharf, and the Imperial Wharf and Battersea Reach schemes in central London.

During his period as Managing Director, Broadway Malyan grew from an annual turnover of £17m in 1999/2000 to a turnover of £46.6m in 08/09. More importantly, Broadway Malyan evolved from being a predominantly south of England based practice with only a small overseas presence in Europe, into a major international practice with offices throughout the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
