Ed is a Practice Principal and Global Urbanism Leader at Broadway Malyan. He is a qualified master planner, urban designer and landscape architect with over 25 years experience. A talented and creative designer, Ed has responsibilities for managing Broadway Malyan’s market leading, international urbanism business (master planning, urban design and landscape architecture) across the global studio network including Singapore, London and the UAE.

He has been based in Broadway Malyan’s Singapore studio for over 12 years. Prior to moving to Asia, Ed was located in Broadway Malyan’s London studio for 7 years. Ed has extensive experience leading a number of high profile international planning and urban design projects in Asia Pacific, Middle East, Europe and Africa. His passion is the creation of smart and sustainable places whether it is new city planning, the regeneration of urban districts, designing city parks or transit oriented development.

Ed’s specialism is urban design and planning but he has in depth experience working on projects from the master planning to construction stages. Ed regularly speaks at conferences on a range of planning and urban design related subjects including sustainable urban design, transit orientated development, and place making.
