Jeff joined Broadway Malyan in 2007 and became a Board Director in 2016. He is a Chartered Town Planner and Urban Designer with 17 years experience and heads up the UK masterplanning team, based in the Weybridge studio.

He has worked on a number of large scale and high profile masterplanning projects for both public and private sector clients and has worked in both the UK and overseas. His projects have included strategic urban extensions, new settlements, town wide strategies and new urban quarters. Jeff’s experience is wide ranging and also includes projects covering urban regeneration, policy and research and integrated transport and land use studies. He has spoken at national urban design conferences, regularly contributes to journal and press articles and is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, Town and Country Planning Association and Urban Design Group.

Creating masterplans for new 21st century communities – places in which many people will live, work and play, is an important responsibility and should be approached in the right way.  With this in mind, Jeff believes that good masterplans should not be based on instinct, nor be based around one person's "big idea", but instead should be about collaboration and strong leadership. This approach leads to the creation of imaginative, aspirational, yet robust masterplans that work at all scales.
